Imagine Perfect Care, 2017 Spring Journal

“Imagine Perfect Care” (IPC) is both a philosophy and an innovative resource center, where a team of dedicated health professionals decide how to involve both patients and staff to transform our health system, and change the way we think about thinking about patient care. We challenge all staff members at University of Utah Health to imagine what perfect patient care could look like, how those ideas could transform the lives of our patients, and how to transform those ideas into realities. I worked with the Imagine Perfect Care team to feature stories in this report. I was able to interact in labs and with professors in University of Utah's new Dental School, and write about The Room of the Future.

Path to Perfect, 2017 Annual Nursing Innovations Report

Each year University of Utah Health delivers an in-depth nursing report, which highlights updates of past stories, introduces new challenges and triumphs in the nursing world. The 2017 report was just published in November 2017, and was my first time contributing to the report, and determining how to achieve the Chief Nursing Officer's 'folksy-wisdom' approach to report writing. I led hours of interviews, wrote each story (with the exception of story one: Challenge Staff to Imagine Perfect Care), and meticulously edited, proofread, and worked with the design team to publish this report.
